The City of Rolling Hills Estates is pleased to commemorate its 60th anniversary with an old-fashioned City Celebration on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
Residents, friends, family, and neighbors are invited to join the daylong festivities, which will a poker ride, equestrian events, pony rides, a petting zoo, and an assortment of fun games and activities, such as three-legged races, a hay jumping pit, and horseshoe matches.
Horsemanship events, a trail obstacles course, Pony Rides, and a Poker Ride event will be available for equestrians and spectators between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Remember, the Music Festival will be held as part of the City Celebration event from 1:30 – 7:30 pm. The admission fee is only $15 for access throughout the venue. Food & beverage vendors, a beer & wine booth, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, community and commercial booths, and more will be available during the music festival. Proceeds from the festival benefit the non-profit, Betty’s Foundation, which funds research for the elimination of Alzheimer’s disease. Free parking and shuttle bus services will be provided.
