The City of Rolling Hills Estates welcomes area residents to join the 60th annual Mayor’s Breakfast Ride, which will be held on Saturday, May 6.

Local equestrians are invited to meet at Chandler Park at 8:00 a.m. and saddle up for a tour of beautiful scenic trails. Chandler Park is located at the northwest corner of Crenshaw Boulevard and Palos Verdes Drive North, just west of Rolling Hills Estates City Hall.

The tour will conclude at Ernie Howlett Park, located at 25851 Hawthorne Boulevard, where scouts will be serving pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, tea, juice and milk from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Advanced breakfast tickets can be purchased from local girl, cub or boy scouts or tickets will also be sold the day of the event. The Pancake Breakfast is sponsored by Scout Parents, Inc., which provides college scholarships, junior leader training scholarships, and other forms of support for local scouting activities. Proceeds will go directly to the participating scout units.
