A Message from the Mayor:
On behalf of the City of Rolling Hills Estates City Council and Staff, thank you for visiting our official City website! We know you’ll agree that Rolling Hills Estates is a warm and welcoming community and hope that you can learn more by browsing this site.
Our semi-rural community nestled on the north-east side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, with only 8,000 residents, has over 175 acres of park area and 25 miles of bridle paths. While Rolling Hills Estates provides a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the Los Angeles basin, you still are just miles from the expansive cultural, event and educational amenities metropolitan life has to offer.
As longtime residents, my husband and I raised our daughter here and have seen first-hand how strong our school system is, how solid our government structure is, how cohesive our neighborhoods can be and how valuable it is to have a local business network - all of which contribute to a tremendous community.
Most all City information is available on our website, whether it is the latest large planning project or public safety topics, so make sure you connect and stay updated on all the latest news and events. Sign-up for notifications, “Like” us on Facebook and “Follow” us on Instagram! We hope you will peruse our photo pages for coverage of our community events and get involved. Even with these various ways to connect, City staff is also always a phone call away. Thank you for your interest. We hope you enjoy Rolling Hills Estates and all we have to offer.
Mayor Britt Huff
