CalWater Pipeline Construction Work Beginning on Palomino Ranchos Bridle Trail

Post Date:08/01/2018

Palos Verdes Peninsula Water Reliability Project Update

As a reminder, due to CalWater's Palos Verdes Peninsula Water Reliability Project, there will be a closure of the Palomino Ranchos bridle trail from the Rolling Hills Little League ballfield to Rolling Hills Road from approximately August 7, 2018 to January 3, 2019. The Botanic Garden bridle trail will also be closed from Rolling Hills Road to Crenshaw Boulevard, from approximately October 2018 to March 2019. For a map of anticipated trail closures and available alternatives, please see below or click here.

Please note that the one-month closure of the eastbound lane on Palos Verdes Drive North between Dapplegray Lane and Dapplegray Elementary will continue until approximately August 10. There is a clearly marked detour for eastbound traffic beginning at Crenshaw Boulevard and the westbound lane will remain open at all times. CalWater is working diligently to complete construction as quickly as possible and have been collaborating with Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps to provide real-time construction and detour information, so you can stay up-to-date on any changes to your daily commute.

Additional project information, including weekly progress updates and a complete timeline of construction, is available at www.pvpwaterproject.com.  Please sign up for project updates by email and text message on the website and follow the project at facebook.com/pvpwaterproject. You can also reach the Project Team at pvpwaterproject@CalWater.com with project-related questions. Thank you for your patience during this temporary inconvenience as we work to bring this much-needed upgrade to the Peninsula, and we look forward to keeping you updated on project progress.
